Overview:
The City of Norwalk Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 10:45 am.
The fire was located at 48 Westport Ave in a 2 story commercial building. Initial reports stated fire and smoke coming from the roof.

The Norwalk Fire Department responded to a house fire at 9 Godfrey Street.
The fire started in an illegal basement apartment.
The basement was gutted with smoke damage on upper floors.
All occupants escaped without injury.
10 occupants were displaced and the Red Cross provided housing.

Norwalk fire Department responded to a house fire at 150 Chestnut hill rd. It was reported at 12:59pm.
The residents were able to self-evacuate. No one was injured. The fire started in a finished attic area.

Norwalk Fire responded to a house fire at 11:59 on 2 Betmarlea Rd.
First company on scene reported fire showing through the roof.
The fire spread above the garage and into the first floor living room and kitchen.
There was no one at home at the time of the fire.
