Norwalk Fire responded to a reported outside fire on 139 Woodward Ave. at 1534 hrs.
On arrival they were met with heavy fire from multiple pallets of fiber optic connectors and pallets containing alcohol.
The bottles of alcohol are used to clean the fiber optic cables.
The fire spread to the adjacent building which was the ware house.
Smoke from the fire could be seen for miles.
There were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The monetary value of the products is said to be substantial.
