Press Release
On Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at approximately 11:50 PM, the Norwalk Fire Department responded to a residential Apartment fire at 261 Ely Ave. The Roodner Court Housing complex. Three Engine Companies, 2 Trucks, a Rescue, and a Command Car arrived on scene to discover a fire in Building 18 apartment 2B. Nine residents and one pet were removed from the building by Fire department personnel. The fire was placed under control 26 minutes after arrival. Fire Inspector Luca Feola remained on scene for the origin and cause investigation.
