Norwalk Fire responded to a fire at 75 Marlin Dr. at 1800 hrs.
The fire started in the furnace room and extended into the ceiling and wall.
The fire was quickly extinguished and the two occupants were allowed back into their home.
The fire inspector is still investigating the cause.
There were no injuries reported.
