Press Release
Norwalk Fire responded to two fires today.
The first was at 12:07 pm on West Ave. & I 95 exit 15.
A van had a ruptured gas tank which made it difficult to extinguish. The firefighters had to use foam to extinguish the fire.
The next fire was a large brush fire of approximately four acres. The fire was possibly arson .
The possible suspect was taken to the hospital for examination and questioning by the Fire Inspectors and the Police arson investigators.
It is still under investigation.
