Norwalk Fire responded to a house fire at 11 Lawrence st.
Upon arrival there was smoke showing from the third floor window.
The fire started in the kitchen area .
The smoke damage made the apartment unfit for occupancy.
A family of four was displaced and the Red Cross provided housing arrangements.
No injuries reported
