For the 3rd time in less than a week, Norwalk Fire Fighters responded to a reported structure fire this time on Saturday afternoon, March 10, at 29 Van Buren Avenue.  Around 5:55 p.m., Engines 2, Engine 1, Engine 4 (RIT), Truck 2, Truck 1, Rescue 2 and Car 2 arrived and found moderate fire in a 1st floor living room involving room contents.   Companies forced entry into the unit and extinguished the fire quickly.  During the primary search, members located and rescued a dog and began CPR.  The dog was transported in a Norwalk Police car with FD members on board to an Emergency Veterinarian in the area.  The dog's condition is not known at the time of this posting and the fire is under investigation.
