Location: 33 Pettom RD.
The Norwalk Fire Dept responded to a house fire at 33 Pettom Rd. The call came in as persons still trapped in the house.
Upon arrival there was heavy fire to 50% of the home and one of the occupants was jumping out of the first floor window and another jumping out of the second floor window. With reports of two more still trapped FD forced the front door and found one victim behind the door. With heavy fire over head we pulled him out. The second crew of firefighters made there way to the second floor and found another victim in the second floor bedroom. He was brought out and CPR was immediately started.
The two victims pulled out are in extremely serious condition and the other two are being treated for burns and smoke inhalation. One fire fighter suffered cuts to his hand. There were 4 engines, 2 trucks at the scene. Crews from New Canaan and Westport Fire covered the stations. The fire was under control in 30 min.
