Time 5:30 pm
Norwalk Fire Fighters rescued an Osprey that had one of its wings caught in the frame of light tower that lights up the baseball field behind Nathen Hale School on Ingalls Ave.
The Ospreys have built a large nest on the tower that stands about 70 feet up. The parents were very nervous, flying around while we tried to free it. It was one of the babies. We placed it in a pillow case and handed it over to the DEP which will rehab it and then release it in the same area.
