The annual Local 830 Christmas Toy Delivery Program has raised a total of $6,909.50. 

The monies were earmarked to be distibuted evenly between the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Connecticut Burn Center Renovation Fund at the Bridgeport Hospital.  The renovation plan has a provision for a suite where the families of a firefighter being treated in the unit can stay with their loved one while he or she is receiving treatment.  The suite is being constructed using 100% donated funds and the Stratford Professional Firefighters Burn Foundation is leading the charge to raise the funds needed to complete it.

Our membership is proud to have been able to raise this large sum of money to go to two very good causes.  Special thanks are in order fo the committee who ran the fundraiser and all the volunteers who helped make it happen over a week-long period.
